Why do I have no hot water?
In most cases the reason for suddenly having no hot water is electrical, such as faulty elements, thermostats or isolating switches.
However, there may be a plumbing problem, due to a leak in a hot water pipe letting cold water feed into the cylinder or a faulty pressure reducing valve, or safety valve. There may also be problems with the tempering valve.

Why do I keep running out of hot water?
Your hot water cylinder may be undersized for your water usage or your thermostat may be set too low. Under normal use, a family of four typically needs about a 200-litre capacity hot water cylinder to make sure they’re not going to regularly run out of hot water under.

Why is my hot water pressure so low?
If you regularly run out of hot water, it is likely you have a low-pressure cylinder. Older cylinders tend to be smaller and low pressure, whereas modern electric hot water cylinders are high- or mains-pressure and hold 180 litres or more. In this case, you may want to consider upgrading to a mains pressure system.
Your pressure may also be affected if the flow is impeded by a faulty shut off valve, a clogged filter or a faulty limiting valve or your pressure reducing valve is incorrectly adjusted.
